Become a Beach Naturalist!

If you're inspired by marine life and protecting our marine and nearshore ecosystems, the Beach Naturalists training is for you!

In this five-week training, you’ll learn from regional experts about Salish Sea marine habitats and species, restoration and conservation efforts, community science opportunities, and more!

Live Zoom classroom sessions will be offered at 930am-1230pm on April 13, 18 & 27, and May 2 & 4, with recordings available throughout the training. In-person, guided beach explorations across Jefferson County will be offered around the low tides on April 11, 20 & 25, and May 6 & 9.
