Frank, who was born on March 9, 1931, and was a citizen of the Nisqually Tribe, worked as an activist for tribal treaty rights, fishing rights, and environmental protections.
To honor him, at 12:35 p.m. on Thursday, March 7, in Peninsula College’s Little Theater, there will be a screening of The Beautiful Undammed, an episode of the series Wild Hope.
The Beautiful Undammed follows the ecological rebirth of the Elwha River after the removal of hydroelectric dams.
