We are seeking a few more volunteers to help spread clean shell at our Olympia oyster restoration site in Discovery Bay.
Volunteers who are comfortable walking on mudflats will cut open and shake out bags of shell, providing substrate for native Olympia oyster larvae to settle on and grow. This restoration method has proven to be successful at this location and we are thrilled to get this shell out there with your help!
