The Jefferson County / Port Townsend Climate Action Committee (CAC), an advisory body to the Port Townsend City Council and the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners, will present CO2 modeling data and recommendations from the Forest and Trees Greenhouse Gas Inventory report to the public. Jefferson County’s forests and trees play a role in removing CO2 from the atmosphere and improving the net balance of greenhouse gases in our community.
