Tree & Shrub Mulching at River’s Edge, Clallam Conservation District

Join the Clallam Conservation District, Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe, and North Olympic Salmon Coalition on July 14 at the River’s Edge Restoration project along the Dungeness River in Sequim. Volunteers will help mulch around newly planted native trees and shrubs, and install and straighten plant protectors. The mulch will help young plants to retain moisture throughout the summer to help with their survival, and the plant protectors help to keep small rodents from damaging trees and shrubs.

View our Restoration page to learn more about the River’s Edge planting project, and removal of a levee along the Dungeness River. Registration is required due to limited space. Register HERE please.
