Wildland Firefighting with Amanda Monthei, Jefferson Museum First Friday Speaker Series

Jefferson Museum of Art & History Fall series programs will take place every first Friday between September and December at 7:00 PM. The lineup includes:

  • September: The History of the Bell Tower & Fire Alarm Systems with Ted Krysinski

  • October: Wildland Firefighting with Amanda Monthei

  • November: Fire Prevention with Jordan Pollack

  • December: Traditional Ecological Knowledge in Fire Ecology and Management with Dr. Ernesto Alvarado

Currently, all programs will be livestreamed from the Northwest Maritime Center, where in-person attendance will be limited to 35 with proof of COVID-19 vaccination required. Recordings of each event will be sent to registered attendees post-event.
