Glimpses Lecture Series: The Sea Glass Adventure: History, Archaeology, and Wild Rarities

An informational presentation showing the world’s most rare and beautiful sea glass specimens. MB will describe color rarity, how sea glass is formed, historical tidbits identifying unique pieces, if and where sea glass can still be found today, and much more. Her lecture is filled with hundreds of wild sea glass rarities and collection adventures from around the globe. 

Biography: A Pacific Northwest native, Mary Beth grew up along and has extensively traveled the North American continent’s west coast and more. She’s spent a lifetime along the shore, living, working, studying, and recreating on beaches all over the world. She founded the West Coast Sea Glass company twenty years ago and is the author of The Ultimate Guide to Sea glass. “The unique beauty of sea glass is that each piece is distinct from the next and has been on a one-of-a-kind journey.” More info here.
