Gray Whale Skeleton Bone Workshop - PT Marine Science Center

Location: PTMSC Gallery at Flagship Landing (1001 Water St.)
For a limited time, the entire skeleton of CRC-1524, a gray whale that died in 2016, is on display at Flagship Landing in the PTMSC gallery. Volunteers and staff have been preparing the skeleton for articulation, as well as the skeleton of a northern elephant seal which is being prepared for classroom use at area schools. Both animals came to PTMSC as a result of stranding events to which PTMSC responded as part of the NOAA's Marine Mammal Stranding Network. More information here.
