While we are still finalizing the agenda, this year’s conference includes presentations and conversations on topics like: community forestry, climate-smart wood supply chains, wildfire, carbon offsets, connections between forestry and water flows, state lands, and forest carbon science. With this breadth of topics, we hope to encourage forest management that looks beyond a single objective, and recognizes the complexity and interconnectedness of forest ecosystems and our relationships with them. This is our 6th annual conference and we've learned a few things about what makes it flow well. The sessions will not take up entire days but will instead be spaced out over two days to reduce time demands and video–call fatigue for participants. We recommend marking these dates on your calendar as we work out further scheduling details.
